Venice Secrets, one of the most interesting exhibition in the city of Venice, is presented in this gothic building, one of the largest in Venice, with over 2,500 square meters divided into 36 rooms and 5 sections.

Enter the exhibition and discover the darkest, most mysterious and cruel side of the history of Venice. Hundreds of original finds used to execute thousands of people. Crimes, justice and death penalty at the time of the Serenissima Republic!

The display circuit is structured in four sections first section: Justice and torture; second section: Prisons and prisoners; third section: The capital executions rite; fourth section: Inquisition and Holy Office.

Have you ever heard about the venetian lover Giacomo Casanova? Inside the exhibition you will see his clothes, original finds and his jail cell.
